The beautiful city of Brugge (Bruges) and just walking around the canals, the buildings, the alleyways, getting lost, having a wonderful lunch, being in great company. A city that is full of tourists but it is something that you can handle because of what is around.
On the Wind
Have you even watched a swallow on the wind? Have you listened to the joy that you can hear in their tweets? There is chaos in the window, random bursts and yet the swallow moves so gracefully. It appears as if the swallow gives into the randomness and the result is a masterfully choreographed expression of the beauty that is the wind. I wish to live my life as if I was a swallow dancing on the wind, following whatever direction is before me, completely giving into the now.
Next time you are out in a breeze, close your eyes and allow your mind to wander. Feel the wind on your face and become the swallow, become the masterfully choreographed expression.
